Best in the State! Cornell named best college food in New York

Niche's annual rankings of Best College Food are out, and Cornell Dining has landed in 9th place nationwide, and a fabulous first place in New York State.

The rating is calculated partly using surveys from our own customers, and reflects the quality and variety of the food we serve, and our commitment to providing a memorable dining experience for everyone who eats a meal with us.

"I'm pleased but not surprised to see we placed so highly among colleges nationwide. It's a testament to the effort our incredible staff puts in meal after meal, day after day, to make sure we serve wonderful food," says Gail T. Finan, Director of Cornell Dining and a graduate of Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. "Best in New York State is also a wonderful achievement. We're always pleased by recognition like this for the excellent food we serve on campus." 
The 9th place nationwide is out of the 1,713 public and private four-year colleges assessed by Niche Social for their 2016 rankings. Factors include student surveys and average cost of meal plan.
