Jennifer Ivison
At Cornell, Jennifer currently serves as the Residence Hall Director (RHD) for Balch Hall, the female and non-binary identifying community. In her 3 years of being in this role, she has had the opportunity to support students who live in the community and supervise student staff. She oversees the daily operations of the hall and ensures a safe welcoming environment. Additionally, Jennifer upholds community standards and responds to emergencies on campus. In her work, Jennifer is excited about the opportunity to create meaningful and supportive relationships with students as they navigate their college experience. She also loves programming and creating spaces for students to engage. In addition to her role in Residential Life, she also co-advises the Residence Hall Association, a residential student organization that values advocacy, community building, and programming. During her own college career, Jennifer spent 3 years as a resident assistant, which helped her find the passion for this work.
