Interfraternity Council (IFC)
IFC Fall 2026 Recruitment Schedule:
September 8th & 9th: Open House Rounds (schedule to be announced)
September 10th -12th: Invite Only Events
September 13th: Bid Dinners
September 14th: IFC Sends Bids to Potential New Members
September 15th: Bids Due back to IFC
September 16th: New Member Education begins

Multicultural Greek and Fraternal Council (MGFC) Intake
MGFC fraternities and sororities are culturally based (but not culturally exclusive) groups that range from historically Latinx, Black/African/African-American, and Asian-interest. Most MGFC organizations are continuously recruiting members all year round. Asian-interest groups hold Rush at the beginning of each semester and dates are announced once students return from summer and winter break. There are various opportunities throughout the academic year to find your home in the council.

Meal Plan Information
Please review the following for more information regarding the SFL Supplemental on-campus meal plan. Please note: students joining a sorority or fraternity this fall that requires a required meal plan of 7 or more meals a week are allowed an extension to change their meal plan to SFL Supplemental until September 30 2026 at 5:00 p.m.. A student must first sign their bid with SFL prior to emailing dining.

If a student decides to participate in recruitment and accept a bid, they will need to work with their organization to determine if they will be living in-house. If living in-house with their sorority or fraternity, students will need to affirm that arrangement in the Housing portal March 4 through March 7. Students who will not be living in-house will go through the General Room Selection process, beginning March 11, to select qualified second-year housing that complies with the two-year residential requirement.
