Reserving Space & Registering Events

Reserving Space & Registering Events

All in-person events taking place on campus (and some virtual events) will need to schedule and register through the Scheduling@Cornell website. The Scheduling website - also referred to as 25Live - is used to both request space and register your event, meeting, or activity.

The first step in the process is to provided basic details about your event. You will be asked to identify a space you'd like to request. Finally, you will be asked a series of event-related questions. Following submission of your completed form, the scheduler of the requested space will have up to five (5) days to assign the space to you, or communicate with you to find an alternate location. Depending on the nature of your event, some members of the University Events Team (UET) may also be required to review and approve your event.

Please note that events must be submitted at least two (2) weeks in advance (larger, more complex events, may require 4+ weeks' notice). The University Events Office and University Events Team (UET) may cancel your event, or ask you to find another date, if sufficient time is not provided.

For step-by-step instructions on how to request space for an event, how to edit your events, and how to get assistance, visit the Academic and Event Scheduling website page called Getting Help.

Information pertaining to Club Sports and/or Physical Activity can be found on the Campus Activities page, Club Sport and/or Physical Activity.  Please refer to the Guidelines for Meetings and Events for additional information.

Note that the 25Live Scheduling System will require the user to log in using Cornell University's authentication. All requests/activities that take place on campus require a sponsoring department and/or current approved student organization in order to process the request. Individuals (including students, faculty/staff, and alumni) and/or outside companies/businesses may not request space on campus for activities/events.
