Hosting a table at ClubFest
Hosting a table at ClubFest
We are pleased to invite registered fully registered undergraduate student organizations to sign up for ClubFest! ClubFest continues as a celebration of Cornell's amazing student groups showcasing their activities and promoting the recruitment of new members.
Each session will host organizations by designated categories with around 300 slots available per session.
Each organization will self-identify their category and be assigned to one session based on their category.
Registered organizations will be provided 1 table and 1-2 chairs at the event.
Plan to have only two members of your organization present at your table.
Members should plan to have their table set up at least 15 minutes before the start time of each session. Members will be allowed to start checking in around 45 minutes before each session.
If your organization fails to complete the registration form by the posted deadline, you will not be guaranteed a table at ClubFest.
ONE member of your organization must submit the form.
We are looking for performance groups at ClubFest! Your organization does not need to be part of the session in order to perform, but it is a great way to reach a large audience and spread awareness about your performing group.
Performance time is limited to 8 minutes (this includes set-up and clean-up time).
There are a total of 24 slots available (12 in each session).
Performance slots are limited and will be offered on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.
Sound and stage will be outside on the Arts Quad (inside Barton Hall if raining) and will be provided by Sound on Sound Productions. Please note that in previous years sound checks have NOT been available.
Stage dimensions are 32' x 20'.
ClubFest performance registration will close on the date/time listed on the form. ONE member of your organization must submit the form.
For accommodations for any student who may not be able to attend (for any reason- sensory, religious, family, work, etc.), we are committed to our additional resources for students to get connected:
Prior to ClubFest, we collect contact information and preferred reach-out from tabling groups to share out in a directory before and after ClubFest, including any interest form usually available at ClubFest as well as any first interest meeting.
We advertise additional involvement/resource fair events happening at the start of the semester: Spirit of Cornell, Professional Fraternity Fair, Service Fair, etc.
We remind tablers, specifically in the fall, to be flexible in how they are collecting interested student info day-of, offering to write down contact info as needed and to advertise a space where students can sign up after the date.
We offer a sensory-limited space at ClubFest for folks to take a break and recharge as needed. This may look different between venues: Arts Quad (a space of grass further away from the action) or Barton (a separate space away from the main event)
