Black Student Empowerment
Black Student Empowerment provides support and resources to Cornell University’s Black students on their academic and personal journeys. As a senior staff member of the Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging in the Dean of Student office, the inaugural Associate Dean of Students & Director of Black Student Empowerment leads strategic planning and collaborative partnerships to improve the Black student experience at Cornell University. They offer guidance to student organizations, coordinate and implement programming, and serve as a support network for Black students.
