Latinx Student Empowerment

Latinx Student Empowerment provides support and resources to Cornell University’s Latinx students on their academic and personal journeys. As a senior staff member of the Centers for Student Equity, Empowerment, and Belonging in the Dean of Student office, the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Latinx Student Empowerment leads strategic planning and collaborative partnerships to improve the Latinx/e student experience at Cornell University. They offer guidance to student organizations, coordinate and implement programming, and serve as a support network for Latinx/e students.    

A key priority is to design and implement student-centered initiatives that foster identity development, leadership skills, and a strong sense of belonging.
