CURW
The Office of Spirituality and Meaning-Making (OSMM) works alongside a multifaith community of more than 40 affiliated chaplains, spiritual leaders, and advisors who form Cornell United Religious Work (CURW). Founded in 1929, CURW is the oldest intentionally interfaith consortium of ministry professionals in the nation serving the spiritual needs of college students. OSMM was established in 2017 as the institutional office responsible for overseeing religious and spiritual activity on campus, including supervising the CURW affiliates.
In keeping with the values and vision of our founders, Cornell University does not directly employ ministry professionals to do sectarian work for specific religious communities. Instead, OSMM invites qualified individuals to apply for affiliate status with CURW. If you are interested in applying to become a CURW affiliate, please contact osmm@cornell.edu.
