Copyright Resources for Student Organizations
Copyright law is complex, balancing creators' rights to control their original works with permissible public access and uses. Infringement occurs anytime copyrighted material is used without proper authorization. This includes reproducing, distributing, performing, displaying, or creating derivative works (i.e., absent express permission, a new/revised work that is based on one or more existing works remains the copyright of the original author(s))—Review Cornell University Library: Copyright Services and this document, Understanding Copyright and FAQs for Student Organizations.
Cornell Branding Processes
