- Use of five Fitness Centers managed by the Cornell Fitness Centers on the Ithaca campus. Check out what's inside Helen Newman fitness center, Teagle Upstairs fitness center, Teagle Downstairs fitness center, Noyes fitness center, and Toni Morrison fitness center (for access present Cornell ID card to fitness center monitor). Information on restroom and changing facilities. Please note: during academic break periods and the summer the fitness center sites and hours of operation are reduced.
- Access to all Wellness group exercise classes. Note: These classes are held both in-person and virtually through Zoom. Information about Zoom links for virtual classes and locations for in-person classes is in each classes' description. Please note: during academic break periods and the summer group exercise classes are reduced.
- Access to all CFC group fitness classes (for access swipe your Cornell ID card at issue room window in HNH and Teagle, or at service desk in Noyes, or inside the fitness center in Appel). Note: These group fitness classes are being held in-person. Additional note: during academic break periods and the summer group fitness classes are reduced.
- Lap Swimming at Helen Newman Hall Pool and Teagle Hall Pool during open lap swimming times (for access swipe your Cornell ID card at issue room window in HNH or Teagle). Please note: during academic break periods and the summer lap swimming hours are reduced.
- Access to outdoor and indoor recreation equipment (i.e. basketball, volleyball, tennis racquets, badminton racquets, etc.) for use in the Helen Newman Hall Gymnasium, Noyes Gymnasium, Grumman Squash Courts, outdoor tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, outdoor volleyball court, and more. For access to equipment swipe your Cornell ID card at issue room window in HNH, Teagle, or the Noyes service desk. Also available with card swipe at HNH and Teagle issue room windows are athletic wear and shower towels. Please note: during academic break periods and the summer issue room hours are reduced.
- Inquire with issue room window attendants at Helen Newman Hall or Teagle Hall about a storage basket (with a lock) or a locker (with a lock) available through the athletic department. A storage basket is free and will provide you with a space about the size of a shoe box to store your workout items such as sneakers and toiletries for the duration of your membership. A locker is for a fee and will need to be renewed each year. Please note: during academic break periods and the summer group exercise classes are reduced. - Reduced fee and access to Wellness Skill Building Groups
- Ice Skating at Lynah Rink during open public skate hours (except Sundays). Call (607) 255-3793 for hours. Wellness Recreation Members skate for free (show Cornell ID card and sign in). This reduced rate is only available to individuals who have a 1-year Wellness Recreation or CPHL Wellness Recreation Membership - not available to 4-month Wellness Recreation Membership holders. Without membership skating is $3 or $4 depending on day of the week. Skate rental available for $2 per person or you can bring your own skates.
- Lindseth Climbing Wall pass discount (managed by Cornell Outdoor Education) at reduced fee. See Cornell Outdoor Educations website for more information.
- Cornell University RTJ Golf Course membership discount and golf lessons at reduced fee. Information sent out seasonally through the Wellness e-newsletter.
- Cornell Merrill Sailing Center membership discount and sailing lessons at reduced fee. Information sent out seasonally through the Wellness e-newsletter.
