Temporary Ice Cream Change at Select Dining Locations

Ice cream cone being handed to a customerStudents dining in some residential dining rooms and campus eateries may notice a new ice cream option in the coming days. Due to a recent production disruption at Cornell Dairy, select locations will temporarily serve Gifford’s Ice Cream while Cornell Dairy rebuilds inventory and replenishes its supply.

Based in New England, Gifford’s is a family-owned creamery known for sourcing fresh cream and milk from local dairy farms and using high-quality regional ingredients. The company has earned national recognition for its products, including multiple Ice Cream Grand Champion titles at the World Dairy Expo.

We appreciate the Cornell community’s patience and understanding during this temporary transition and look forward to restoring a full selection of Cornell Dairy flavors as inventory becomes available in the coming weeks.
