Changes coming for Cornell Dining's beverage punch card program, focusing on sustainability

Cornell Dining has a longstanding "Any Beverage Punch Card" program offering a reward drink of your choice after you buy ten beverages — including brewed hot coffee, iced coffee, cold brew, tea, iced tea, specialty espresso drinks, and fountain drinks — at our retail locations. Thanks to the feedback we heard from you this spring through the Residential Sustainability Leaders reusable mug survey, and our partnership with the Sustainability Subcommittee of the Student Assembly Dining Committee, the program is shifting this summer to focus on sustainability!

Starting July 1st, you'll earn a punch on your beverage punch card with the purchase of any of these beverages when you use your reusable beverage container. Fill up your punch card and you'll earn a reward drink. (The program doesn't include shakes, bubble tea, or smoothies, and doesn't include bottled or canned beverages.)

Bring your clean reusable beverage container to Cornell Dining's cafés!

Yes, you'll still save on all qualifying beverage purchases as available at each Cornell Dining eatery using your clean reusable cup, mug, or tumbler, with an increased discount of 15%! It doesn't have to have a Cornell logo on it. It doesn't have to be a travel mug. It just has to be a reusable container — not yesterday's paper cup — and it has to be clean.

Got an existing punch card? You can keep using it through June 30th for all qualifying beverage purchases, with or without a reusable mug or other beverage container. After July 1st, we'll transfer your existing punches to a new punch card for you, but all future punches will require a reusable beverage container.
