Maritza is an undergraduate student at Cornell in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, majoring in animal science and minoring in entomology. Originally from the Bronx, NY, she has a love for the outdoors and the nature that surrounds us. On campus, she is a member of the Cornell Beekeeping Club, the MOU for Animal Science, and an EOP ambassador. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, painting, listening to music, and swimming. She aspires to explore various career pathways involving animals, particularly in the ecology and conservation aspects.
