Andrea Robinson

2025 Emerging Leader
Andrea Robinson is a PhD candidate in the Nutritional Sciences with concentrations in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology and Epidemiology at Cornell University. While at Cornell University, Andrea has received the Cornell Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, the Robert Mozia Graduate Distinguished Service Award and an inducted in the nationally recognized Edward A. Bouchet Honor Society. She also held many leadership positions, including student health consultant for Cornell health, McNair Graduate Program Coordinator, and is the co-PI on a grant for improving the mental health of minority graduate students. Ultimately, she aspires to be a university professor conducting and translating community-based participatory research into policy, primarily focused on improving diet-related health outcomes in populations that are disproportionately at risk for poor health.
