Abha is the Associate Director for Staff Selection and Development within Housing and Residential Life. In her role, Abha oversees the recruitment, selection, and development of full-time employees who support the student experience within the residential communities. She also guides the recruitment, selection, and development of processes related to Housing and Residential Life’s Student Leaders (student employees), who support the safety, community engagement, and resource referral efforts within the residential communities on campus. In her work, Abha also directly supervises an Assistant Director and indirectly oversees Residence Hall Directors and Student Leaders.  

Abha earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from New York University. Abha joined the Cornell University community in 2022, having worked in several types of institutions ranging from large public research universities to small private specialized colleges. Outside of work, Abha enjoys traveling, cooking, and being in the sunshine.
