Beyond the First Week

Orientation opens the door to the richness and diversity of life at Cornell, and the many opportunities to be discovered during your first year here and beyond. As you settle in to your first semester on campus, you will find more information and support, events and programs, and faculty, staff, and students who are here to help you identify and pursue your interests.

Your time at Cornell is precious; use it wisely, and be proactive about your needs and dreams. If your path seems blocked at any point, or you are not sure where to find what you need, don't hesitate to ask for information and support.

Ask questions, seek out information, and take full advantage of programs, information sessions, and presentations during Orientation and throughout the academic year.
