Announcing the new Willard Straight Service Center

We're celebrating the opening of a new Central Campus Service Center at the heart of Willard Straight Hall, our iconic student union that dates back a century. (Planning for The Straight began in 1921 and the building was dedicated in 1925.) The Service Center is on the fourth floor of The Straight, inside the Ho Plaza entryway that faces The Cornell Store.

This fall, we've brought free popcorn back to The Straight (currently available Mondays 12:30-2:30 and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5-7pm), and the Willard Straight Service Center is now also offering laundry and dry-cleaning drop-off service through our partner LazyBones. We've also brought mail and package pickup, keys, and other residential services to this location for our McGraw Place and 625 University Ave residences, to lighten the load on our North Campus Service Center at RPCC.

Student organizations can now reserve space in Willard Straight Hall for events, meetings, info sessions, and other gatherings using our Scheduling@Cornell tool.
