Decoding Job Descriptions for International Students
Presented by: Caleb Yu
When it comes to job searching, one will come across a job description most definitely. However, a job description is often not the most clear and straightforward document. The information on a job description could be confusing or too complicated to understand, and the requirements sometimes could seem way beyond what we are. Please join us for a session where we dissect a job description to get to know how job descriptions may be written differently in the U.S. culture, the skill sets/experience that are sought behind each bullet point, and share tips on how can you use a job description to help you construct your resume/cover letter and eventually help you in your interview.
