MBTI
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is a personality test that categorizes individuals into one of 16 personality types based on their preferences for how they perceive and interact with the world. The assessment is based on the personality theory developed by Carl Jung, which suggests that there are four pairs of opposite preferences that describe how people see and engage with the world:
- Extraversion (E) vs. Introversion (I)
- Sensing (S) vs. Intuition (N)
- Thinking (T) vs. Feeling (F)
- Judging (J) vs. Perceiving (P)
The MBTI assessment consists of a series of questions that aim to identify which of the four preferences the individual leans towards in each of the four pairs. Based on the individual's answers, they are assigned a four-letter code that corresponds to their specific personality type, such as INFP, ESFJ, or ESTP.The MBTI assessment is often used by individuals, teams, and organizations as a tool for personal development, team building, and career planning. It can provide insights into an individual's communication style, decision-making process, and problem-solving approach, which can be helpful for improving interpersonal relationships and achieving personal and professional goals.
With a certified facilitator, your group will be guided through the MBTI assessment results. You'll discover the ways that your different personality types work, learn and communicate with one another.
Team Trainings
Using a combination of the MBTI model, experiential team activities, and the results of the MBTI assessment, this module can be a tool for your working group to:
-
Learn how you receive and direct energy
- Take in information
- Make decisions
- Approach the outside world
This module can be custom fit to your goals. Your group must complete the MBTI Assessment prior to the program. When we gather as a group, we'll debrief the results of the assessment in a group feedback session. From there, we encourage your group to take part in a 1-2 hour portable program where we'll see the MBTI preferences in action!
