Toni Morrison Hall

Toni Morrison Hall offers an engaging residential experience that supports academic success, personal growth, and community involvement. Named in honor of Toni Morrison, the first African American woman to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, the hall celebrates the legacy of one of Cornell's most distinguished alumnae.
Designed with innovative floor plans and a contemporary aesthetic, Toni Morrison Hall creates an environment that encourages connection, collaboration, and engagement. The building's layout intentionally draws residents beyond their individual rooms into welcoming common spaces that support group study, social interaction, and community programming. Spacious lounges and nearby cafés provide natural gathering places where students can build friendships, exchange ideas, and participate in a vibrant residential community.
