The Cornell Food Pantry

Free, confidential access to food and personal care items is available to Cornell undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Cornell staff and faculty.

The Cornell Food Pantry's regular hours resuming September 3rd are Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-7pm, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-1pm, and Sundays 12-3pm. (Hours may vary during breaks.)

The Cornell Food Pantry will be open through Sunday, December 22nd, then closed for winter break, and will reopen with regular hours on Thursday, January 2nd. There will be no food distribution December 24th through January 1st.

2023-2024 registrations expired on June 30th, and all guests will need to re-enroll for the 2024-2025 year. Your points balance will not be affected.

The Cornell Food Pantry has seen significantly increased participation, and is serving more students, staff, and faculty than ever before, so we've been running out of some items more quickly than we're able to replenish them.

In order to equitably serve as many people as possible, we have implemented limits per person, per visit on high-demand items, and we're adjusting the points "price" for certain items to better reflect recent cost increases for these foods.

Please refer to the updated signage at the Food Pantry for details.

Enroll to participate: Visit mealplan.scl.cornell.edu/foodpantry to enroll in the Food Pantry program.

Under state guidelines, Cornell students, staff, and faculty are eligible to have access to the Cornell Food Pantry if their total household incomes are at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines, or if they participate in any assistance programs such as SNAP, WIC, FDPIR, TANF, Medicaid, free or reduced school meals, or SSI. The Cornell Food Pantry does not ask for or expect any proof of eligibility. In addition to online enrollment, there's a paper form provided by New York State that we keep on file as part of our partnership with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. You can fill it out on your first visit to the Food Pantry.

The Cornell Food Pantry is located in the building at 109 McGraw Place, but our entrance is on the southwest-facing side of the building, not on the McGraw Place side of the building. You can reach the Cornell Food Pantry via the access road off University Avenue between Stewart Avenue and McGraw Place.
