Undergraduate Meal Plans

Traditional Meal Plans

Cornell Dining's Traditional Meal Plans are open to all undergraduate and graduate/professional students, and feature a combination of dining room meals, Big Red Bucks for tax-free food purchases, and bonus meals for guests.

Please note: Incoming first-year students, sophomores, and transfer students living in on-campus housing are required to have a meal plan and will be automatically enrolled in the Unlimited meal plan. First-year students are required to participate in the Unlimited meal plan for the full academic year. Sophomores and Transfers living in on-campus housing are required to participate in either the Unlimited or Traditional meal plan. Residents of the West Campus House System are required to have a meal plan and will be automatically enrolled in the West Campus Unlimited meal plan. Members of Cornell's Greek organizations may reduce to the Bear Supplemental plan; see below for details.

Priced at what had been only a 14-meal-per-week meal plan level, the Unlimited Meal Plans are fully covered by financial aid for eligible students, and are a great value for everyone, including upperlevel students living off campus. In addition to unlimited visits to our residential dining rooms, the plan includes a supply of Big Red Bucks (BRBs) for use at the Cornell Dairy Bar and in our cafés, grills, and convenience stores.
