Posting Full-Time Jobs and Internships

Handshake

Cornell Career Services utilizes a platform called Handshake to allow employers the opportunity to post full-time jobs and internships or summer positions for Cornell students and graduates, at no charge. You can find steps below on how to get started on Handshake and connect directly with Cornell University students.

Please note: We do not approve employers from the cannabis industry, including CBD processors and manufacturers. Employers involved in the industrial hemp (defined very narrowly as containing less than .3% THC) industry must be licensed in their state through a pilot program authorized under the 2014 Farm Bill in order to be approved.

Step 1: Create your User Account

Click here and follow the prompts provided to begin creating your account on Handshake. You can follow this step-by-step guide provided by Handshake to help you get started: How to Create an Employer/User Account

Step 2: Create or Connect with your Company

Once you've created your user account, you'll be asked to connect with a company account. If your company doesn't have an account, you can use this Handshake guide to help you create one: Creating a New Company Profile

Step 3: Connecting with Cornell on Handshake

In order to connect with Cornell University on Handshake, you'll need to submit your job/internship opportunity for approval. You can learn more about Handshake's job-based employer approval process here: Understanding Job Posting Approvals

Once your first job is posted and approved, you'll be connected with Cornell University on Handshake and have the ability to continue to post positions and view public student profiles. You'll also have the ability to post events and interview schedules directly for Cornell students.
