Orientation Swim Dates
***Important Update: Currently, water competency times are open to anyone needing to meet the requirement. Registration information and additional dates on links below.
The swim requirement can be taken during Orientation each August and January for free (more information on late fees here). Students do not need an official SDS accommodation to postpone their swim requirement or PE courses.
* Must bring Cornell ID or government issued ID, appropriate swimwear (may include rash guards, t-shirts, shorts, burkinis, etc.) and a towel. NO PHOTO ID, NO SWIM! Photo copies, pictures of ID, or GET App will NOT be accepted.
** If you are uncertain that you can meet the requirements, it is highly recommended that you register for PE 1100 (beginning swimming).
These times are subject to change and registration through CampusGroups is REQUIRED! Registration will open 1 week prior to event.
