• PE 1100-001 Beginning Swimming
Introduction and practice in the basic skills necessary to pass the Cornell swimming proficiency test. This course is designed for the non-swimmer. Students will be instructed in proper technique of front and back floats, front crawl and elementary back stroke. Students will receive both shallow and deep water instruction. MAX 24

Six-week Session: June 23 - August 1, 2025
• PE 1100-002 Beginning Swimming

• PE 1104 Swim Conditioning
Prerequisite: Reasonable swimming ability. Introduction and practice in different types of training methods. Final objective: 2500 yards in one class period. This is primarily a conditioning and not an instructional course. MAX 24

• PE 1445 Outdoor Beginning Tennis
Instruction and practice in the basic skills of the game, including grip, serve, forehand, backhand, and volley. Scoring methods are taught. All equipment is furnished. MAX 16
