Clothing Closet Volunteering

Volunteers at the Clothing Closet encourage a positive experience for both participants and volunteers. They will maintain a clean and organized closet and accurately record information regarding the frequency of use and number of items leaving the clothing closet. 

Responsibilities include greet participants, sort donations, clearly and accurately label donations and store in correct locations, enter data into computer, respect confidentiality, work in accordance with the agency's mission, adhere to the agency's policies, and other duties deemed appropriate. 

Volunteers are required to have strong organizational skills, computer competency, ability to interact successfully with a wide variety of people using tact and courtesy, assertive, dependable, and the ability and initiative to work independently with minimal supervision. There must be a commitment to one shift per week (Current hours: Tues-Fri 1-3:30pm).
