We want every undergraduate student to learn how to partner with communities to create a better world, and we support programs across the university — from courses to co-curricular activities — that advance this goal.

✨ Opening night of We Are La Voz: Resilience Thr ✨ Opening night of We Are La Voz: Resilience Through Art was nothing short of powerful.

Hosted at Orozco Gallery and curated by @yenospina, this vibrant exhibition uplifts the voices of Latinx artists through textile-based storytelling—honoring heritage, healing, and resistance.

We’re proud to have supported this month-long pop-up through our grants, continuing our mission to amplify student and community-led projects that foster connection, reflection, and social change.

Today's senior spotlight is on Audrey Stavrand '25 Today's senior spotlight is on Audrey Stavrand '25 from @communityelderlypartnership!

A biological sciences major in @cornelluniversitycals, Audrey says, “CEP allows me to build relationships with residents at Beechtree, learn more about social justice issues among the elderly, and learn how small actions can make a big difference."

"Seeing the residents faces light up when we arrive and hearing the echoing goodbyes as we leave shows me how meaningful interactions can make a difference. I have loved every moment with CEP, from making cards for Beechtree and learning more about elder social isolation to visiting residents each week."

Congratulations, Audrey!

A biological sciences major in @cornellcas, Milani says, “I joined the Upward Bound team my sophomore summer, and I'm forever grateful that I did. Getting to know the students, offering them advice, and seeing their personalities shine has been an incredibly rewarding experience."

"Beyond the students, the staff has been incredibly kind and supportive. Liz and Kate have been amazing mentors, always
encouraging my aspirations, even when it meant I couldn't return for another summer. My fellow student staff members have also helped foster an inclusive, safe environment that makes Upward Bound so special. This experience has not only allowed me to support and guide students but has also helped me mature and gain a stronger sense of self. "

Congratulations, Milani!
