What client interests and goals best fit my training style and skills?

I tend to be more education and proper technique focused.  I can work well with total beginners, as well as those who want to try a new training style or learn new equipment.  I also like working with experienced clients to upgrade their routine, keep fit, or start and off-season regiment.  Emphasis is made on mobility and core in all workout programs Interval training is my strong point for those clients who have weight loss goals.  I am an Elite Trainer with an exercise therapy specialist certification which covers injuries, pre and post-operations, and recovery clients.  I also hold a Nutrition Specialist certification.

What is unique about my educational or fitness background that influences my training knowledge?

Taught nutrition at the college level

Athletic coach for sports (Field Hockey, Cross Country, Basketball, Track & Field, Women & Men’s Lacrosse)

3-season athlete in both high school and college

Worked for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Wyoming, Washington, & Alaska

What is my favorite fitness activity or an accomplishment that makes me feel good?

Outdoor enthusiast! (hiking, backpacking, kayaking)
