Outdoor Yoga/Tai Chi (COE) - Fall 2026
PE 1700 - Outdoor Tai Chi
In conjunction with the Ithaca Tai Chi society this course will expose students to the numerous benefits of learning the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan. Students should dress appropriately for the weather as all classes will be held outside. No previous experience necessary.

Course fee: $245. No former experience necessary. The first class meeting will briefly be held on campus in Bartels Hall, room B01, then will travel to an area around Ithaca, NY. Other classes will first meet at Bartels Hall and then travel to other areas around Ithaca. Transportation is provided to classes off campus.
Drop Deadline: Monday, August 24, 2026. Students will be responsible for the course fee and assessed a $50 late drop fee if they do not drop by the deadline. Attendance is required. PE 1702 - Outdoor Yoga
This course, an introduction to Yoga, takes place at various places on and off campus. Students will gain a greater awareness of their movements and breathing, improved flexibility, fitness, strength, and wellness in a relaxing outdoor setting.
