[Singing]: Far above Cayuga's Waters, with its waves of blue. Stands our noble Alma Mater, Glorious to view. [Music] CUeLINKS is a platform where students can connect with both Cornell Alumni and peers in order to get advice on things like classes and career paths. Also just to assist in the networking process. I think CUeLINKS is something that I can use at any point in my career. I tend to speak to alumni that are within my field and they can share their own experiences to help me navigate and do what's best for me. And so far I've gotten advice on which classes to take based on my job interests and I hope to continue to use these resources to help guide what path to take in the future. CUeLINKS is like LinkedIn if it was helpful if it was you know in a system where you could actually talk with people. I discovered that there were so many tools and people I could meet by basically just navigating the platform. The things that I love most about interacting with Cornell students are their enthusiasm for learning their love for all things Cornell and their dedication to changing the world. It allows us to connect with the current student body which we oftentimes don't get to do. it is actually the best tool available for personal or anonymous questions. It's this notion that the relationship is mutual I'm learning as much as I'm teaching or helping and so that's really fulfilling. And it's really great that CUeLINKS allows us alumni and students to make those connections early and network early and be able to share experiences. With each other as you go along your 4 years and beyond at Cornell. It allows them to listen and learn and  try not to make the same mistakes that all of us as alums have made but rather make new ones own their own. There's an incredible conversation that begins every time the students asks their question. every time the students asks their question. From looking for a position at a specific job or if I'm looking for an internship, I move to new city or I write a book or I even want to switch my career in my field 20 years later there's an alumna I can talk to about it. CUeLINKS has taken away my fear of reaching out to new people because I know that every alum on the site is volunteering their time and resources which makes it easier to make that initial connection. CUeLINKS is an opportunity to see how current students are mapping out their futures thinking about their college careers in really sophisticated ways and imagining how they're going to use what their learning today to make them the people that they dream of becoming that is incredibly valuable.
