A Transformative Community

A Transformative Community

One of the most valuable aspects of the program is the community, and experiences Kessler Scholars share together. Personal connections are initiated through summer outreach prior to new student orientation and are formed through peer mentorship, dedicated professional staff, monthly socials, and engagement with alumni on and off campus.  These efforts facilitate a smooth transition to Cornell and introduce the Kessler Scholars to a dynamic community that supports their personal, social, and intellectual growth.

"With faculty, mentors, and peers like the ones Kessler has given me, I feel like I've found my community of people who will always love and support me, and that has made adjusting to a school like Cornell so much easier."

- Sophia Johnson '23
