Volunteers needed to save local lumber

Looking for a unique way to contribute to the community this spring? Finger Lakes ReUse needs your help! Join us for a unique opportunity to keep beautiful salvaged materials in local use.

Following the successful deconstruction and salvage effort in Collegetown in December and January, ReUse is now looking for the people power to help us process beautiful wood flooring, trim and more in our new-to-us warehouse space in Ithaca NY.

Denailing is a great team-building activity! We can accommodate groups of up to 12 per shift - so please tell your friends, classmates, and co-workers (this makes for a great work team-building event). There is also sorting and wrapping of the flooring once processed, equally as important to this project. Get a bit of a workout, check out the warehouse, a nice view of the water, and meet great people.

Weekday and weekend shifts are available and new shifts are added to our site regularly.
