Voted many times as the "Best Place to Volunteer in Ithaca," Loaves & Fishes is a community kitchen that serves free meals to all in need.

Volunteers are needed to assist with meal preparation, service & clean-up. There are many shifts available immediately and throughout the summer:

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays  9:00 - 11:30 & 11:30 - 2:00 PM

Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Since the onsite of the pandemic, L&F has served more that 84,000 meals to go.  At last, we are returning to in-person dining on May 2 and need many volunteers!

Volunteers may take shifts for as long as they are available, preferably at least once per week. No special skills required except a strong desire to assist those in need and willingness to work on a variety of tasks.
