Donna Lucy-Lender

Associate Director, Student Programs

Donna Lucy-Lender is the Associate Director of Student Programs at the Einhorn Center. Donna has a science background with a Master’s Degree in Education Supervision and Administration. Donna supervises k-12 programming and student-led community engagement programming. She brings with her 17-plus years as a secondary educator. In the role of educator, Donna was a founding principal of an innovative high school with a focus on wellness. Her experience includes conducting research at the Neuroscience Institute on Long Island, NY (SUNY Old Westbury); receiving the NIH Fogarty grant; time as a biotechnology professional; and being a Congressional STEM award recipient. Donna is also a committed community advocate.

Donna has an extensive history of collaboration with parents and higher education institutions, as well state and county agencies to improve student outcomes through student initiatives and service-learning opportunities. Donna has developed and implemented student programming for diversity, equity and inclusion. She also serves as a board member for the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County. She joins the Einhorn team with a commitment to support Cornell students to be empathetic global citizens who will co-create a world where kindness, humanity and collaboration are at the forefront of innovation.
