Timelines

HCEC Registration opens in early December and remains open through the spring and early summer.

The deadlines and timelines for undergraduates are different than those for alumni. Timeliness is an important aspect of the application process, and it is each registrant's responsibility to stay informed of, and adhere to, these dates and deadlines.

Applying to medical and dental schools is a lengthy, time-consuming, and time-sensitive process. There are a range of school deadlines, for both primary and secondary applications, and adhering to the HCEC timeline helps registrants meet those deadlines. Letters are released on a rolling basis according to HCEC Checklist completion dates, with priority given to those who do not miss any deadlines. The Undergraduate Timeline and Alumni Timeline include important key dates and official deadlines.

PLEASE NOTE: Seniors who graduate in December are considered alumni by the HCEC.
