My time on the Interfraternity Council Executive Board (IFC) has been focused on expanding our impact on campus and connecting with more students to show them the opportunities Greek life can provide for them. Here at Cornell, we have a motto: "Fraternity for Everyone." I now serve as the Executive Vice President and previously served as the Vice President for Recruitment—and throughout my nearly two years on the board I have been focused on bringing as many different people into our community as possible. I love the opportunities that Cornell and my fraternity experience have provided for me and I want to help other students achieve the same!
In addition to my work on the IFC, I was the Executive Director of Project Identification and Expansion for Cornell University Sustainable Design, a Senior Class Campaign Co-Chair, and the student representative on the Human Ecology Alumni Association. I've loved getting to work with all of these different groups because they show the diversity of opportunities Cornell offers. I'm able to take the skills I learn from one organization and apply it to another. There are so many great people on Cornell's campus that are eager to help one another and help make impacts. I got involved in each of these groups in a similar way: making friends and sharing my interests. Getting to know those around you at Cornell is the best opportunity out there!
